Adobe Business Catalyst End of Life Announcement
If your website is built on the Adobe Business Catalyst CMS you will most probably already be aware of what’s happening. For those of you that don’t know, Business Catalyst is Adobe’s all-in-one website hosting and digital marketing platform. Adobe published an ‘End of Life’ announcement in early 2018 sharing the news that they will be stopping development from March 2018.
- March 2018 – End of life announcement and development on Business Catalyst stops
- June 2018 – No new sites can be purchased
- March 2021* – Existing sites will no longer be hosted and will not be available to the public
*This date was originally March 2020 but Adobe has extended BC’s end of life date by one year following feedback from their customers.

Now’s the time to act
While Business Catalyst will be available for another two years, now is the time to consider what your plans are for your website following this date. Think about (and discuss with your teams) your
- Business’ website needs now and in the future
- Digital marketing strategy
- Plans for migrating the content from your current site to a new site
It goes without saying that you will need to work with an agency who understands your business.
