Project overview

Resource Group Recruitment is a specialist recruitment and workforce solutions provider with deep roots in the aviation and technical sectors. With decades of industry experience, they support organisations around the world in sourcing highly skilled talent, while also offering training, compliance and workforce consultancy to help businesses build resilient, future-ready teams.

Their website needed to reflect this dual purpose. On one side, it serves as a clear, accessible platform for job seekers, helping candidates explore opportunities, understand career pathways and apply with confidence. On the other, it speaks directly to businesses, showcasing Resource Group’s recruitment expertise, industry knowledge and end-to-end workforce services. Our challenge was to bring these two audiences together in a single, cohesive digital experience that feels intuitive, professional and tailored to each user’s needs.

Design

The Resource Group employment website was designed to feel purposeful, modern and unmistakably aligned with the aviation industry. Building on their established brand, we used blue as the primary colour palette to convey trust, professionalism and reliability, while reserving their bright green for primary calls to action. This creates strong visual hierarchy and ensures key actions — such as searching and applying for roles — stand out clearly across the site.

A glassmorphism design style was introduced across key tiles and content panels to create a sense of space, lightness and depth. This approach gives the interface an airy, contemporary feel, while subtly reinforcing the aviation theme. The rounded corners of these glass elements were deliberately chosen to echo the shape of commercial aircraft windows, helping the design feel conceptually connected to flight without being overt or literal. The result is a clean, calm interface that feels both technical and human.

Development

From a development perspective, the site was built from the ground up to meet Resource Group’s specific operational needs rather than relying on off-the-shelf recruitment templates.

A key part of this was the integration with LogicMelon, their job publishing platform. Job roles are pulled directly from Resource Group’s CRM (Tracker) into LogicMelon, which then publishes roles to external job boards such as Reed, LinkedIn and Indeed, as well as to the website itself. Crucially, job applications submitted through the site are pushed back into the Tracker CRM, giving the internal team a single, centralised system to manage vacancies, applications and performance. This seamless flow reduces manual effort, improves data accuracy and supports a more efficient recruitment process end to end.

The outcome

The finished website was delivered successfully and met all of Resource Group’s expectations. Despite a very tight, immovable deadline, the project was completed on time — and with time to spare — giving the Resource Group team confidence and peace of mind ahead of launch. The result was a platform that clearly serves both job seekers and businesses, while staying true to their brand and industry positioning.

Beyond the visual design and user experience, the project reinforced an important principle: a great website isn’t just about how it looks or how users interact with it. It’s also a powerful operational tool. By integrating seamlessly with Resource Group’s existing systems, the website now plays an active role in streamlining internal processes, reducing manual work and centralising data. The combination of strong design, intuitive user journeys and robust system integration has delivered real, measurable value — both externally for users and internally for the Resource Group team.
